How it plays

This yellow build plays the pilot girls and skips the restricted Spear of Gaius cards. Rei Ayanami EVA-1-005 plays a cheap Rei back from the sideline when she leaves the field, and Mari EVA-1-017 digs for more characters with [Get] triggers. Asuka EVA-1-013 and What Kind of Idiot Are You? rest or remove the opponent's front-line characters. Keep the board full, clear blockers and push damage.

Rei Ayanami EVA-1-110 and Mari EVA-1-111 come from the Evangelion starter deck (UE15ST), so the starter is a natural first step before adding booster singles.
